Disciplines/Trap Layouts

The SCSC is lucky in that it has plenty of space within its grounds to cater for almost every discipline. The ground’s manager, Ron Maxwell, is keen to vary the layouts so that regular customers always have something new to shoot at.

There will always be a mix of targets for beginners and experienced shots including:

• ISU, NSSA and normal skeet.
• Down-the-line traps.
• High tower with twin traps.
• All types of sporting clays – we can set up simulations for almost everything from driven grouse, walked up days to those impossibly high birds.

We have a simulated flush, which we can set up to deliver however many clays we ask it to. It’s great for large parties and competitions. A word to the wise, though, watch out – you’ll struggle to hold your gun by the end, there’s so much to shoot at the barrels get hot!
